CAMPING INFORMATION

Camping on Member Lots
Per our Covenants and
Restrictions camping on lots owned by White Birch members is
allowed from the start of Memorial Day Weekend through October
31st.
Section H of the Covenants & Restrictions reads:
H. Restrictions on Camping
-
Camping shall be allowed
without the necessity of a permit each year from the
beginning of Memorial Day weekend through October 31, and at
such other times during the year (“off-season camping”) only
in accordance with permits issued by the Board of Directors
of the White Birch Lakes Recreation Association
(“Association”). The granting of such permits to not be
unreasonably withheld, but which will not, in any event,
permit off-season camping for any landowner for a duration
of more that fourteen (14) consecutive days.
- Each camping unit must meet Health
Department requirements.
- All camping units must be set back at
least 100 feet from any road.
- All lots where camping takes place must
have an approved fire ring.
- All campers must comply with these
Conditions.
- The Association will enforce these
conditions.

Review: April of each year
- All campers in the campground must be
registered to camp.
- A camping registration form must be
completed for each campsite in use at all times.
- Registration forms are available at the
Clubhouse. Registration forms must be completed and campsite
fees paid PRIOR to setting up camp. The registration forms
are two part: the white/front copy will be kept in the
Clubhouse; the yellow/back copy will be given to the camper
to place on the post at the campsite as a receipt and to
verify registration.
- In order to use the campground, the lot
owner must be a member “in good standing”.
- All campground reservations must be made
by the lot owner/member. The lot owner/member may make
reservation(s) for guests/non-members to use the campground,
however, guests/non-members who try to reserve a campsite on
their own will be turned away.
- Only ONE camper and ONE tent is allowed
on any one camping site. If an additional camping unit or
tent is placed on said space, then an additional campground
fee will be applied.
- Reservations are handled on a first
come/first serve basis. Reservations made prior to your
anticipated arrival date are recommended. Please call
(989)588-2853 during business hours (Monday through Friday
8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.) to make your advance reservation.
- A minimum of one-half of the total
camping fee is required at the time the reservation is made.
The remaining balance must be paid at the Clubhouse.
- Campground or safety personnel are unable
to collect camping fees, accept reservations or assign
camping sites. All monies and reservations are handled
exclusively through the Clubhouse.
- There are no time limitations on members
using the campground. Guest campers have a maximum of 14
consecutive days staying in the campground with a minimum of
15 days between visits.
- There is no refund on monies paid for
camping fees or reservation deposits.
- ATV’s not owned by a lot owner/brought in
by a guest are prohibited access to all roads and trails
within WBLRA per the ATV Rules & Regulations.
- All campers must comply with all
regulations set forth in the Covenants and Restrictions of
WBLRA.
- The following campground fees are in
effect from Memorial Day weekend through October 31, 2011:

One week $70.00
Two weeks $140.00
Three weeks $210.00
One month $250.00 |

(Sites 6-37)
One day $15.00
One week $55.00
Two weeks $110.00

- The off-season camping rate (November 1
to Memorial Day weekend) is $5.00 per
night electrical charge.
